The Bavette, also known as the Sirloin Flap Steak is an extremely flavorful and tender cut of beef that is from the bottom sirloin. This cut is very similar to that of a Flank Steak, however is leaner and more marbled which in this case makes it more tender. Extremely popular in other places around the world it is becoming more popular here in the United States.
This is an amazing cut for anyone looking to do dishes like Mongolian Beef, Stir Fry, Steak Tacos, or just grilling it and topping it with Chimichurri.
